How to play
The bot posts a question in chat: a topic and two clues. The first viewer to write the right answer gets a point. If nobody guesses in time, the bot reveals the answer.
Bot: Викторина! Тема: Страны. Подсказки: Очень вытянута вдоль Анд; Пустыня Атакама. Пишите ответ так: !!ответ (45 сек.)
Viewer: !!чили
Bot: pelmen_master отвечает верно! Ответ: Чили. +1 очко.
The quiz runs in Twitch chat only: you need a connected and enabled Twitch integration. No subscription is required, except for question generation.
Turning it on
Open Chat quiz in the dashboard and turn it on with the switch at the top of the page.
Questions are already there: a shared set across several topics. The shared questions and the bot's default messages are in Russian. You can add your own questions and replace the bot messages.
How viewers answer
Viewers write the answer in chat with a prefix: !!answer. The prefix is set in the settings; with an empty prefix any chat message counts as an answer.
By default case and the Russian «ё»/«е» difference are ignored. Anything else must match exactly unless you allow a typo or an answer inside a phrase.
Starting a round
- From the dashboard: the Start round button in the "Current round" card. Any topic, and you don't have to be live.
- With
!quizin chat. - Automatically every N minutes while you are live on Twitch ("Auto-start rounds").
Only one round runs at a time. Stop ends it and reveals the answer.
Series
A series is 2 to 50 questions in a row with a pause between them. Start it with Start series or !quiz 10 in chat. Stopping the round stops the whole series. With "Series summary in chat" on, the bot posts the best players at the end.
Chat commands
| Command | What it does |
|---|---|
!quiz | start a round |
!quiz 10 | start a series of 10 questions |
!quiz stop | stop the round or the series |
!quiz top | show the top 5 players |
The !quiz command is off by default. If the "Chat commands" card says it is off, click Enable.
Who may use the command is set in its settings under "Commands". By default that is the streamer and moderators. If you allow everyone, viewers can see the top, but they can also start and stop rounds.
Leaderboard
Each correct answer gives the player a point. Every channel has its own leaderboard. It is on the Leaderboard tab, and !quiz top shows it in chat. Only the channel owner can reset it.
