Translator

The translator function allows you to automatically translate messages in chat from various languages into your preferred language.

Settings

Translate chat messages - Enable or disable automatic message translation
Translate to - Select your preferred translation language (the language you want messages translated to)
Use recommended languages for translation - When enabled, the system will use a curated list of recommended languages

If you turn off the recommended languages toggle, you can select specific languages that should be detected and translated.

You can set minimum thresholds for translation to avoid translating very short messages:

Minimum words for translation - Messages with fewer words than this value will not be translated
Minimum characters for translation - Messages with fewer characters than this value will not be translated

You can prevent translation of messages from certain users by using the following commands:

!ignore @username - Adds a user to the ignore list for translations
!unignore @username - Removes a user from the ignore list for translations
!translate - Translates the message you replied to, in case the bot didn't translate the message for some reason
