Polls and Predictions (!poll, !prediction)

Native Twitch polls and predictions from chat. Twitch only — Kick and VK Video Live don't have them.

!poll — polls

!prediction — channel points predictions

!prediction resolve <number>Declares the winning outcome (numbered from 1, in command order). Twitch pays out the points
!prediction cancelCancels, points are refunded
!prediction statusShows the active prediction and its outcomes

Example: !prediction Match result? | Win | Loss!prediction resolve 1 — "Win" wins.

One prediction at a time. Until it's closed with resolve or cancel, a new one can't be opened.

Notes

  • Predictions need Affiliate or Partner (Twitch restriction).
  • 5-second cooldown per channel, extra calls are silently ignored. It starts on any call, even one with a format error.
  • Time is written together: 1m30s, not 1m 30s. Units: s, m, h, d (anything above 30 minutes is clamped to 30).
  • !poll 2m with no text → the bot shows the usage hint.
  • Length and option-count limits come from Twitch; the bot just checks them upfront.
  • The command can be renamed in its settings; usage hints show the primary name, not an alias.
